Our Good Friday observance was marked by a stirring worship service and choral concert. The UCSJ Chancel Choir and music director, Ángel Carrión Maymí, presented “Simon Bore the Cross,” a powerful piece with lyrics by Langston Hughes and music by Margaret Bonds, performed for the first time in Puerto Rico. This profound event added a memorable chapter to our Holy Week journey.
